Release the component lock simply by operating the forward lever with one hand. Even if an extraneous substance were to somehow become jammed in the machine, the component cover can be easily raised to minimize any damage that would be caused.
The combine can be stopped even if the operator has gotten down from the driver’s seat.
This mirror allows the left side of the combine to be reliably checked for safety purposes. It is also useful since it enables the conveyance of crops to the threshing part to be checked.
A new emergency engine shutoff switch has been mounted by the threshing part inlet port. This switch merely needs to be pressed in an emergency to immediately shut off the engine and threshing feed chain.
