LE80D is fully equipped with wide range of functions to enable various work through easier operations. Simple, fast work is supported by reducing troublesome measurements and operations as much as possible.

Super Smile Turning is a function for turning and planting using only steering wheel. This automatic planting function renders planting properly aligned after “U-turning” and “bump-and-back methods” undertaken. Planting starting timing can be fine-tuned according to field conditions.
By adding turning-up function, operation can be performed comfortably even in deformed paddy fields and on headland sections without forgetting to raise planting part.
With simple operations, it is possible to plant automatically after leaving open a single-lane margin as measured from edge of field. Without having to take bothersome measurements, you can smoothly start planting even on fields to which you are unaccustomed. This function also prevents squandering of seedlings, fertilizer, and chemical agents where they are not needed and helps obtain laborsaving gains as well.
Shift main gearshift lever (Smile Shift) to backward position to raise planting part automatically. This helps to prevent damage from being caused to planting part that might otherwise occur as a result of forgetting to raise it and also increase working efficiency.
Marker can be raised or lowered with planting part in the lowered position and can also be automatically switched to left and right positions for planting after turning.
State of planting part can be checked by glancing at monitor screen. Panel is also equipped with LED lights that help to overcome glare effect.
Main gearshift lever equips single-action button for raising and lowering planting part. Planting part can be raised or lowered while undertaking operations for switching forward and reverse traveling without letting go of steering wheel and main gearshift lever.
Once brake pedal is depressed, main gearshift lever returns to neutral position automatically. It prevents jump start and contributes to safe operation.
A convenient panel designed to enable operations to be easily undertaken with use of buttons and dials.
