There are ideal times for sowing seeds, transplanting seedlings, and harvesting that differ for different vegetables. By cultivating vegetables in accordance with these ideal times, it will become easier to cultivate an abundance of disease-resistant vegetables.

Determine which types of vegetable you wish to grow based on the time of year when you wish to start the process.

Tomato

Belonging to the Solanaceae (nightshade) family, tomatoes are a vegetable high in beta-carotene.
They can be divided by size into three categories: odama (large), chudama (medium), and mini tomato.

Eggplant

Belonging to the genus Solanum of the Solanaceae (nightshade) family, eggplants generally feature purple or darkpurple skin but can also come in yellow-green or white skin.

Cucumber

Belonging to the genus Cucumis of the Cucurbitaceae (gourd) family, cucumbers consist of many different types that are grown worldwide. There are numerous delicious ways to eat cucumbers raw!

Cabbage

Belonging to the Brassicaceae (mustard) family, cabbage is a highly appreciated ingredient in prepared dishes and salads.
